Temporary marquee in the OMV refinery

During an inspection of the suspended ceiling in the dining hall at the OMV refinery, Schwechat, it was established that it was in danger of falling. TECON Engineering GmbH was commissioned to design and build a temporary dining hall so that operation of the company restaurant could be maintained.

Because of the urgency of the task and the nature of the special requirements, the task was delegated to specialists at ILF in Innsbruck. Lead-managed by Daniel Handle and in the limelight of the OMV workforce right up to the refinery’s management level, a solution was found within just a few days.

Besides the usual engineering services such as defining the scope of performance and inviting and comparing offers, all of the refinery’s specifications had to be complied with. Despite the difficult circumstances the integrated OMV/TECON/ILF team successfully obtained the necessary permissions from the public authorities in the shortest time and operation of the company restaurant was resumed on schedule in the temporary marquee.

Once again the ILF group proved itself to be a reliable OMV partner in times of the greatest distress.
